Bandits Disguise Themselves in Hijabs to Launch Attack on Sokoto Community

A community in Sokoto State came under a violent attack as armed bandits disguised themselves in hijabs to carry out their assault, leaving residents in shock and fear. The attackers reportedly used the disguise to move through the area undetected, enabling them to target unsuspecting villagers with precision.

According to local sources, the bandits struck late in the evening, targeting homes and public spaces, looting valuables, and causing panic among residents. Many families were forced to flee their homes, seeking safety in neighboring villages or with relatives. Eyewitnesses reported hearing gunshots and screams during the attack, highlighting the level of coordination and planning behind the assault.
