Youths within the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have called on Governor Seyi Makinde to begin preparing his handover documents ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group made the call during a strategic meeting held in Ibadan, where members reviewed the state’s political atmosphere and outlined their priorities for the next election cycle.
Speaking after the meeting, the youth leaders stated that their message to the governor was not borne out of hostility but rooted in their belief that Oyo State is ready for a new political direction. They argued that residents of the state deserve improved governance and faster development, which they believe their party is capable of delivering.
