ADC Confirms Its Participation in Upcoming Elections

The Interim National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), David Mark, has reaffirmed the party’s readiness to participate fully in upcoming elections, dismissing any uncertainty about its presence on the ballot.

Speaking during a stakeholders’ engagement in Abuja, Mark emphasized that the ADC has met all necessary legal and administrative requirements set by the electoral authorities. He noted that the party remains committed to strengthening democratic processes and providing Nigerians with credible alternatives at the polls.

Mark assured party members and supporters that internal structures are being reinforced to ensure effective participation across all levels of the elections. According to him, the ADC has been actively mobilizing grassroots support, consolidating its leadership framework, and preparing candidates to contest in various positions nationwide.

He further stressed that the party’s focus goes beyond just appearing on the ballot, highlighting its broader agenda of promoting good governance, transparency, and inclusive development in Nigeria. He urged Nigerians to remain engaged in the democratic process and to support parties that prioritize national interest over personal ambition.

Addressing concerns about political competition, Mark stated that the ADC welcomes a fair and level playing field, expressing confidence that the party’s vision and policies will resonate with voters. He added that the leadership is committed to maintaining internal discipline and unity as the elections approach.

The announcement is seen as a strategic move to reassure party faithful and signal the ADC’s determination to remain a key player in the country’s evolving political landscape.
